This time, we carried out the installation work of the security camera of “H. VIEW”.
Good thing I had a challenge, so I’ll share it with you.
Amazon’s eight-million-pixel PoE
The camera installed this time is not a product purchased from wholesale, but a supply product procured by Amazon.
H.VIEW’s security cameras, which rank high in the top, have a diverse lineup of security cameras that rank high when searching for “eight million pixels PoE” on Amazon.
H.VIEW Lineup
When you try to build a security camera with H.VIEW products, the way to buy a set product is quick.
If you add four sets to 96,900yen, and if you add 23,000yen to it, you add six sets, and if you add 40,000yen of the set, you add eight sets.

NVR (recorder) is 18,900yen for a single item, 33,900yen for a 4TB hard drive. The difference is 15,000yen. When I looked inside, it was equipped with SEAGATE’s SkyHawk and ST4000VX005. The difference is 15,000yen because it costs about 18,000yen on Amazon, so I think that the difference is reasonable.
At the time of the sale, the HDD was 15,120yen without HDD, but even in that case, the built-in HDD may be more economical.
H.VIEW Three models of cameras
There are several line-up of H.VIEW security cameras. I picked up the main three models and compared them.
The HV-800G2A, which can be said to be the top level, has an optical 5x zoom. In security cameras, there are many cases where you can see the reflected range, so there are few costs to zoom.
The HV-800G2A5 is included in the set. I think you could say standard product. There is no optical zoom, and it is equipped with a wide-angle 2.8mm lens. It is ONVIF compatible.
I think that the HV-E800A can be said to be a low-cost version. Fixed 2.8mm lens.

5x zoom model
The upper models with 5x zoom have experience in installation. The model of the fixed point camera used in the YouTube channel that can be viewed at the link below is HV-800G2A“HV-800G2A”.
This time a standard plane.
The model included in this set is HV-800G2A5“HV-800G2A5”. I installed a total of twelve of them.
The upper model with installation experience had four screw holes and a body weight of 750g, but this time the model is 550g, and the mounting screw is three. If you fly the lower hole processing, it will fail.
The big difference with the upper model was also in the neck swing fixing. The upper model has three moving parts, each of which can be adjusted with six-cornered screws. On the other hand, there are two movable parts of the standard machine, and since it is not possible to fix the screws, there is a possibility that the direction may change due to strong winds and earthquakes. Even if you fine-tune it, the direction may change depending on the weight of the camera.
If you do not want to aim at the safe or cash register with pinpoints and allow misalignment, you may have to choose a higher-level model.
Construction
Construction begins.
The image below is a set of eight. It comes in a fairly large cardboard box.
When you open the box, you can see the recorder box and eight long LAN cables.


Determine the position where the camera is installed.
From which position you can see, while checking what kind of pictures you can take, look for walls that you can install.
This time, it was decided to install it with an angle of view like the figure below.


The camera actually installed is as shown in the figure below.


This time, it is a rare case, and the video of the security camera is released on the premises. Therefore, it is not necessary to hide the camera, but rather by exposing it and informing the existence of the camera, I decided to make it a threat to people who do evil things.
The video is available at the entrance. The display is attached so that people can see from each person who gets on the elevator, who uses the stairs, and stays at the entrance.

Wiring is mainly piping
When exposed wiring, the sagging wires are not only noticeable and shabby, but they can be easily cut.
Therefore, the wiring is mainly passed through the piping.
A pipe box is installed in the middle, and the wire is looped about 30cm in the box to prepare for future expansion work.
The pipes used are PF and VE pipes. Since it uses a 22mm diameter, you can run through it with a margin even if you put four LAN cables.


The recording is a secret place.
The camera and display are in a position that anyone can see, but the recorder is hidden in a secret place.
By managing the recorders in a distributed manner, you can reduce the risk of data being destroyed when a crime occurs.
I expect that the crime will be stopped when I notice the camera, but unfortunately, when the crime is committed, I think that it is possible to catch the culprit by providing the recording data to the police, assuming that the camera will be broken.
This time, the power supply and communication of the camera was connected from the PoE hub to the NVR by the internal LAN via the repeating hub.

IP address
The NVR in H.VIEW has a unique function.
There are two types of LAN cable ports, one with one LAN port, and eight or sixteen PoE ports.
The LAN port can participate in the IP address of the internal network as “IPv4”.
The PoE port is called “internal NIC IPv4”, and forms an IP address different from IPv4 in the on-site network.

When the camera is connected to this PoE, for example, a camera with an IP address called “172.16.0.7” exists in the on-site network built with an IP address starting with “192.168.1.1”.
H.VIEW NVR is excellent, so you can manage the camera of different IP addresses of different lines.
If you search in the management menu of NVR, it will be a screen like the figure below.

I have an IP address…
If you manage only H.VIEW’s NVR, the IP address is 192.168. *. * Systems and 172.16. *. *It seems that there is no problem even if the system is mixed, but there is a problem to access from other systems.
For example, when accessing from a personal computer, the on-site network is 192.168. *. * If it is a system, it is 172.16. *. *In order to directly access the camera, it is necessary to adjust the IP address of the computer and participate in the network.
I have a lot of trouble.
You can change the video format and set the streaming distribution by entering the IP address in the browser and accessing it.
If you are using this function, it is better to have the IP address aligned.

Resolve with PoE hub
H.VIEW’s NVR had a problem of granting its own IP address, so this time I placed a PoE hub separately.
If I had known from the beginning, I would have made the recorder cheaper, but this is unavoidable.
In other words, it is a type that does not have a PoE port as shown in the figure below. This will reduce the cost of 4,000yen, so you can use it to fund to buy a PoE hub.
This time I bought an 18,900yen PoE port, so I can’t help it, but I bought a PoE hub separately because of the convenience of the IP address.
Hub procured the TL-SG1005LP. The camera has a nominal value of 7.5W, so it TL-SG1005Pis okay with “TL-SG1005P”. I think you should buy the cheaper one.

Building as planned.
With the introduction of the PoE hub, we were able to build a security camera network as planned.
You can watch the video at the entrance, and the recording is in a secret place, so the risk of data being stolen is reduced, and individual cameras are managed by IP address, so you can set them individually.
Twelve cameras and three NVRs, and you can connect them with any combination to record and view them via the Internet, so you can see the situation even on a business trip to a distant place.
I set the setting to restart once a day, so I refresh every day, avoiding things that gradually make me sick. The restart takes around thirty seconds, and the time when the video is missing is short.
